We are Going Green...

Ok Mom is going green and the rest are having to follow...in somethings anyhow! I have been checking out websites (now that we have high speed!) And one of my new favs that I have found Green Mom Finds
  I won this cute Shower Time from just leaving a message! The shower timer is made by Ripple Products. It is too cute (I had to borrow their picture because I could not get a good one in our bathroom!)
On my first attempt I almost made my shower time...but I failed. But it is my hair's fault...seriously! It is coming out by the handfuls now! It has been cut is only to my shoulders but thank goodness for a wide tooth comb and conditioner! Or I would never get it combed!

I am 38...

Yep the birthday has come and gone and left me 38. That is ok, I am too sleep deprived to really be concerned with my age. The baby just had his 4 month check...17# 10ozs. Can you believe it? Wow and that is all breast milk baby!

Started working out regularly (Well, if you can call 2 days of work out regular...)
Rode my bike for 7.5 miles last Thursday, rode with the oldest another 6 miles on Sunday and just spent 45 minutes shoveling poop! Now that is not baby poop, but chicken poop!!! That has to count as aerobic activity. Trust me I was sweating, it has rained here! Wet Poop!
My life revolves around poop!

But that is ok, I am 38.

I wish I could post proof of my actual KIP today (I got to cast on 34 sts for an OSU wash cloth while DH was getting ready in his 2nd 5K run!)

Look what I got

It is not yet my birthday but I got a wonderful b-day present...

No, Not the baby  but a Nikon D40 camera. It is so awesome. I am still figuring it out. I have wanted one like this for so long. Especially to take pictures of the kid playing Volleyball! (Doesn't take too bad of a picture of the little kid either!)
Or of chikens either! This is "The Colonel" This picture is straight from the camera...no touch ups! I am so excited!

(Well it just did not seem right to put horse in the title...we have chickens)
Anyhow, it looks as if the tear duct may have opened on its own...we have been goop free since Monday.

Look, no goop...... Yea. Of course, right now he is asleep over my arm and drooling down my leg. But heck isn't Motherhood moist? (Just like teaching elementary students!)
