Finally I have finished a pair of socks. I have no idea what my hold up is...oh, could it be that I am preggo. I keep using that excuse here at home. So now before I get to say anything my family pipes in with, "We know you are pregnant!"
Too funny! (Ok, probably not too funny for you all reading this but it just cracks us up!)
Here are my Socks for Sockapalooza. I won't tell you who they go to but she said she loves wild colors...
Definately bright! The cuff is knit with a moving slip stitch and knits up quite easily. SL1, K5 (x2 rows) and then K3, *SL1, K5* to last 3 sts then SL1, K2.
Nice and easy. But boy did it seem like it took me forever. I bought the yarn from a dyer on eBay. At first I was disappointed with the brightness of the colors but then decided that it was an act of fate because they are perfect for my buddy!
So into the mail they will go in a couple of weeks!!!! Yeah! Can't wait to recieve my pair from my way cool buddy! (She has been finished for weeks!)
These are to fit a size 11...luckily I am a size 10 and it was easy to figure the 11.
Well off to try my hand at knitting the baby kimono from Mason Dixon and start a new pair of socks!
